Not far from Sümeg Castle situates our newest solar power plant with a total capacity of 25 MW, consisting of 4 separate power plants. The development took place on an area of 500,000 square meters, and about 62,000 solar panels were installed during the huge investment, which, thanks to its operation, will reduce the country's carbon dioxide emissions by tens of thousands of tons annually.
The construction of the switch- and transformer stations was also executed by STS Group. The switching station was connected to the public network by splitting the 132 kV transmission line of Ajka Power Plant - Sümeg.
The investment, with a total cost of HUF 7 billion, covers the electricity needs of 10,000 households, appr. 30,000 people. The investor was the Enprotech company group. The solar park was equipped with high-quality solar panels and German inverters.
